This is my River Hawk OC1 (1 person outrigger canoe) demo boat, and it has all the options. If you’re looking for speed and stability, the River Hawk is it! Designed to be paddled with either a canoe paddle or kayak paddle, the 23′ long x 13″ wide (at the waterline) x 36 lb (fully rigged; 29 lb hull and 7 lb iaco/ama) River Hawks have been used to win multiple MR340 races, as well as numerous other races. Setup is simple and adjustable, and the single iaco (the bar to the ama, or float) has a streamlined aero cross-section to reduce wind drag. The smaller ama is effective, but short enough to fit into many vehicles, at least with the back seats folded down. Over-stern kick-up rudder to prevent damage, and a hatch to carry your gear. Built with optional Hypetex carbon accents and a custom seat from the factory, the new price for this boat/layup would be $6000. Overall this boat is in beautiful shape, but recently during a trip a tree branch broke off the rudder mount (no damage to hull or rudder, just to the carbon wrap that holds the rudder tube to the stern). That is being repaired right now. As such, the price on this particular boat has been reduced to $4500! I can also sell you a brand new one, as River Bear Racing is an official River Hawk dealer.
