It was a beautiful day for a paddle, albeit somewhat breezy, and at least 4 of us read Mike’s email about going to Golden Lake. With everyone being an accomplished paddler, we circumnavigated most of the lake areas instead of just crossing, giving us just a tick under 8 miles. Strong winds and some fun waves gave us a bit of a workout on the way back, but no one complained. The only downside was a lack of cookies. Many thanks for Mike for calling this paddle!
