It was quite a nice paddle on Hamilton Lake this evening, with 8 or so of us circumnavigating the basins of the lake. Nice water, although plenty of weeds were in abundance (especially if you went under the low bridge on the southeast end of the lake. Keith brought a canoe, along with Steve E., but the rest of us (including Tadd) indulged in a bit of kayakery. Mike, Tadd, and I covered nearly all the lake shore at 7.3 miles, with Fred, Dan, and Keith, and John covering various sections. The evening was so nice a few of the crew set up chairs and just enjoyed the setting sun. And the cookies, of course, generously supplied by Keith/Louise (I believe).
